This is my newest watercolor piece, “Aquanium”. It was inspired by the barreleye fish, a fish with a transparent head which allows its internal cranial organs to be visible. This deep sea organism’s transparent head allows it to absorb more light. Creatures with bizarre attributes like this sure make me contemplate. How did they evolve…
